The exact rules of the rally will be released to all those attending closer to the event, once all places have been finalised… but… in a nutshell, the rules are as follows:

1. The GOLFBALL3OOO works on a points system.

2. Points will not be awarded for drinking or any pub golf activities.

3. Points will not be awarded for the Golf Tournament, this is a separate competition and separate prizes will be awarded.

4. The GOLFBALL3OOO is a rally, NOT a race. No points will be awarded for getting there quicker.

5. Points will be awarded for raising money for charity, on top of a prize for raising the most, teams that raise a lot for charity will get lots of points.

6. The older the car you bring, the more points you start with – further details of this will be released later.

7. Points are also gained by stopping at various destinations on, or close to the route. Teams must prove they have been there with a digital photograph.

8. More points will be awarded for photos of your team, with other teams

9. Scorecards will be issued to keep track of your points, these will be added up at the end of the rally and the winners’ photos will be checked from their digital camera before prizes are awarded. Lost cameras and/or scorecards will, therefore exclude you from winning.

10. Points and or prizes will be awarded to the team who makes the most effort with:
i their car
ii dressing up in golf gear
iii their overall GOLFBALLERS spirit
